Plainpage Support
Enable both Safari extensions
- In iPhone Settings → Apps → Safari → Extensions, turn on “Plainpage Blocker”. On some iOS versions, Safari is directly on the main Settings screen.
- Turn on “Plainpage AI Filter” and set website access to “All Websites → Allow”.
- Open the Plainpage app, tap “Sync rules to Safari”, then open a web page in Safari.
Troubleshooting
Ads still showing?
Check that both extensions are enabled, tap “Sync rules to Safari” in the app, and reload the page. Some pages need the tab to be reopened.
Page content removed by mistake?
AI filtering acts only on high-confidence ad detections, but mistakes are still possible. First disable the extensions for that site using the website menu in Safari’s address bar. You can report the issue without sensitive information so we can investigate; a fix in a specific release is not guaranteed.
Feedback and contact
Report an issue on GitHub Issues
Describe the issue and your iOS version. If you include an address or screenshot, use only public pages and remove personal information first. GitHub Issues are public: do not share signed-in pages, browsing history, accounts, orders, passwords, or other sensitive information.
GitHub Issues is a public web feedback channel you choose to use, not an app data-collection feature. Submitted content is sent to GitHub and displayed publicly.
