Plainpage Privacy Policy

Effective: 2026-09-24

For the iOS app "Plainpage" and its Safari extensions.

We collect no data

Plainpage does not collect, store, upload, or sell any personal information or usage data. There are no accounts and no analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs.

Ad detection happens on your device

"Plainpage Blocker" hands its rules to Safari, which matches them internally; Plainpage never sees the addresses you visit. "Plainpage AI Filter" runs an on-device model inside web pages to decide whether page elements are ads. The process and its results stay on your device and are never sent to any server.

Web extension permission

The AI Filter needs your permission in Safari settings to access websites, which is required to run the on-device model in the page and remove ad elements. It does not read or transmit form contents, passwords, cookies, or browsing history.

Network

Plainpage itself makes no network requests. Rule and model updates ship with app updates through the App Store.

Children

Plainpage collects no data from anyone, including children.
